About me

I love meeting with clients, answering their questions, providing them with advice and alternatives, helping them make decisions, and preparing Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Deeds, and other estate planning documents. I am passionate about serving my clients and designing estate plans for them so that they know their life savings, their home, and their other assets will pass to the people and causes that are most important to them. I am also passionate about serving clients who are hurting because of the death of a loved one, and who need help with navigating the maze of probate laws and other legal requirements that must be followed when a loved one passes away. 

I graduated from law school in 1988, married my beautiful wife, Linda, and began working at a large Cleveland law firm with hundreds of attorneys. I started my legal career as a copyright and trademark lawyer preparing licensing agreements for Snoopy, Garfield, and other popular cartoon characters.

Our family grew as my wife and I had three wonderful daughters, and my legal career changed as well. I began practicing in the fields of estate planning and probate law, and have spent the last 20 years working primarily in those areas. Prior to starting my own firm, I spent over 15 years with the law firm of Leiby, Hanna & Rasnick in Akron, Ohio, where I continued to prepare Wills, Trusts, and other estate planning documents for my clients and advised them on their planning goals. I also led the firm's probate practice area and assisted clients with administering hundreds of estates.

I opened my own law firm a few miles south of Akron in the City of Green, which is where I grew up and attended school from kindergarten through high school. Returning home to practice law is the highlight of my professional career. My office location allows me to serve not only the Green community, but Green's central location also allows me to serve clients throughout the Akron-Canton area and all of Northeast Ohio.

My office is conveniently located in the City of Green at the corner of Massillon Road and Graybill Road, next to the Green YMCA.
