Attorney Donald S. Plum has been practicing law in Northeast Ohio for over 25 years, preparing estate planning documents for thousands of clients and advising them on estate planning and probate. He has substantial experience in creating Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Directives for his clients, and has represented clients in administering probate estates in Summit, Stark, Portage, Medina, Cuyahoga, Wayne, Tuscarawas, and Carroll Counties.
Prior to starting his own firm, Don practiced for over 15 years with the law firm of Leiby, Hanna & Rasnick in Akron, Ohio.
Don is a graduate of Green High School in Green, Ohio, the University of Virginia, and the University of Michigan Law School.
Our office is conveniently located in the City of Green at the corner of Massillon Road and Graybill Road, next to the Green YMCA. We are less than a mile from the Massillon Road exit of Interstate 77.

Estate Planning
A Last Will and Testament, a Health Care Power of Attorney, and a Financial Power of Attorney, also known as a General Durable Power of Attorney, are recommended for every client. Don will prepare those documents for you in accordance with your directions. Do you need a trust? Don will help you determine if a trust is right for you, or if your objectives can be met without a trust. If you've never had a Will, or if you signed a Will years ago and you'd like to have it reviewed, Don can assist you. Do you need to name a guardian for your children? Contact Don. Don will help you create an estate plan that is just right for you.
PROBATE
The death of a loved one is difficult enough without the additional probate and other legal requirements that are involved. Let a trusted and experienced advisor help you through the process of an administering the estate of your loved one. Contact Don to schedule your free initial consultation, and he will explain the legal processes to you and show you how he can assist you. Don is also available to assist you with trust administration and guardianships.
OTHER SERVICES
Would you like your home to pass to your beneficiaries without going through probate? Don can advise you on whether or not a Transfer On Death Designation Affidavit is right for you. Is the deed to your home titled correctly? Don will help you determine whether or not it is, and prepare a new deed for you if you choose. Are you interested in creating a limited liability company for your rental property or your small business? Let Don answer your questions and assist you with creating a limited liability company.
